Can magnets become weakened?

I have an ‘iPad smart cover’ which uses magnetism but I detach it and re-attach it a lot. Can this weaken the magnet?

No, they can be weakened by heat, but for your application, it won’t weaken . That’s why they are called “permanent magnets”
