Apple’s iOS 9.1 update has been distributed far and wide, but some users are already regretting hitting that download button.
Reports on the company’s support forums and Reddit suggest that the update is interfering with the TouchID fingerprint scanner on recent iPhone models and the iPad Air 2.
Some users are claiming that the sensor has forgotten their fingerprint, while others are reporting that it has become laggy.
It is unclear how widespread the problem is, but there are enough users complaining about it online to force Apple to investigate.
The Cupertino firm is yet to comment on the issue, but we’ll be sure to update this article if that changes.
