Annoying Java pop up update message (Mac OS X 10.7)?
Annoying Java pop up update message (Mac OS X 10.7)?
It’s just so annoying i couldn’t take anymore if it ! it makes me want to break my laptop ( serious ) , i’m working on my mac laptop and i get this annoying pop-up software message every 5 seconds saying
“To open this Java application, you need to install a Java runtime, but you are not connected to the Internet.”
if it’s not that, it will tell me to update and when it searches it tells me there was no java software found for my current OS..
I’m running on Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, as i heard it doesnt support Java, so why am i getting this annoying message? :S
It’s really getting on my nerves, can someone PLEASE provide a solution?
1) Can i disable this annoying pop-up? i tried disabling auto updates from the system preferences but it just keeps coming
2) is there a way i can get Java for mac os 10.7 ?
Here’s a link to the message i get, http://img839.imageshack.us/img839/4738/screenshot20110610at901.png
