will updating to ios 6.1 delete everything?

I wanna update my iphone 4s to ios 6.1 and i wanna update it from my phone does it delete my apps ? i don’t have any backup for my apps.

Well first off iOS 6.1 is in Beta form right now, therefore you would have to be a developer to use it. But I am assuming you are referring to downloading iOS 6.0.1 update. To which this update will NOT cause data loss. It is an in-place update of the iOS.

BUT – I would still highly recommend that you backup your iPhone regularly.
