With Apple Music available, Apple needed something to show off its capability and what better than the iPod. Apple today updated its iPod touch family with a new processor, colour options and support for Apple Music service. The new iPod touch now uses Apple’s A8 processor, the same used in iPhone 6 along with M8 motion coprocessor for fitness tracking.

The device will also feature an 8 megapixel iSight camera, Beats 1 radio, 4-inch Retina display, faster Wi-Fi and new colour options of space gray, silver, gold, pink and blue.

The new iPod touch are available today with the entry-level 16GB model starting from Rs. 18,900 while the 32GB and 64GB are priced at Rs. 22,900 and Rs. 26,900 respectively.

Apple also has a 128GB variant, but that won’t sell in India. It can be purchased from the US for $399.
