Which colour of iPad mini should I get – Black and Slate or White and Silver? With reasons.?

I am planning to get an iPad mini but I have question, now too – May I get Earpods with iPad or Smart Cover. Please tell.

I would choose the black version a 1000 times. Especially on the ipad. Why? Because it offers so much more contrast to the screen. A black frame makes the colors occur much more colorful.

Also in my personal opinion it looks better but I guess thats just my opinion.
